Pie Day – 3,14

Research shows that ESOPs with an employee ownership culture outperform non-ESOP peers as well as ESOPs that lack an employee ownership culture.  These ESOPs have an involvement orientated/ participative management philosophy, embrace a low power distance, and seek employee input to help solve problems.  They communicate to each employee how their actions contribute to the success of the company and how each employee no matter what position they may hold can help increase the bottom line (ESOP Pie) and thus the value of the company.

Pie day is a great day for ESOP Communications Committees to help showcase and reinforce how all employees contribute to the bottom line, and how through everyone’s efforts the PIE can grow building wealth for each employee owner.  Plus everyone like Pie – Right?

How does your ESOP celebrate π day?
