This week, ESCA Board member Amsted Industries hosted Rep. Frank Mrvan (R-IN) at its Hammond, IN facility. During the visit, the Congressman toured the Hammond facility where Amsted produces hot coil springs for freight cars, locomotives and large springs for John Deere, Kubota, Bobcat, and other companies. Amsted also highlighted the employee ownership culture at the company for the Congressman.
Amsted Industries is a diversified global manufacturer of industrial components serving primarily the railroad, automotive, commercial vehicle, construction and building markets. Founded in 1902, Amsted Industries is a 100% employee owned company. Amsted has been a member of ESCA since 1999.
